Strong Wholemeal Flour - Premium
100% high protein wholemeal flour. Specially milled to contain all the constituents of the wheat grain. Wholemeal flour is courser and this is where the entire wheat grain has been used in the processing of the flour. This ensures that the fibre, minerals and vitamins are present in the flour. When substituting white flour for wholemeal, and to produce a similar texture a good ratio would be 1 cup white flour and 3/4cup wholemeal flour. Wholemeal flour produces a heavier denser product and is wonderful for bread, homemade pasta and muffins, banana bread etc.
