* This Australian sustainable wholemeal rye flour is gently ground and the entire rye berry is retained and makes a delightful rye loaf & when mixed with a white flour to give lighter loaf with a robust flavour. Rye flour has a weak gluten so tends not to rise as much on its own. This is also great to use for your rye sourdough starter. This flour is ideal to make pumpernickel bread.
